National standard GOST R 57564-2017 «Organization and Implementation of Activity on International Standardization in Russian Federation» was published.
Document describes principles of cooperation of national body on standardization of the Russian Federation Rosstandart (GOST R) with international organizations on standardization such as ISO, IEC, introduces terms and definitions. This standard also regulates activities of Rosstandart in the work of international technical committees and subcommittees (TC/SC ISO, TC/SC IEC).
Procedures of the development of standards by joint project technical committees were also described except for series of changes concerning procedures of the development of publications in the framework of TC ISO and TC IEC and subcommittees (SC ISO, SC IEC).
Document contains information about stages of the development and procedure of provision of points of view (voting) on draft international standards. It also describes accelerated procedure of adoption of ISO and IEC standards and leading the secretariats of technical committees and subcommittees of ISO and IEC.
GOST R 57564-2017 has been implemented for the first time. It has been approved at the end of July 2017 and it will come into effect since December 1, 2017.
