STANDARTINFORM as part of delegation of GOST R took part in the 15th session of the Permanent Russian-Chinese Working group on standardization, metrology, certification and inspection control of the Subcommittee on trade and economic cooperation of the Commission on arrangement of regular meetings of Chief Executives of Russia and China.
This event took place in Shenzhen ( Peoples Republic of China) on August 29-30,2017. Chinese party headed by the Deputy Minister of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China ( AQSIQ) Li Yuanping was represented by 40 specialists on standardization, metrology, accreditation, scientists, officials and interpreters. Russian delegation which was headed by the Deputy Head of GOST R Anton Shalaev consisted of 14 responsible employees of organizations of GOST R, Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, industrial enterprises and associations.
STANDARTINFORM was presented by the Head of the International Cooperation Department Julia Tufanova.
Matters of bilateral cooperation in the field of standardization and its information support were discussed. Parties noted that procedures of harmonization of standards which were developed in the framework of working group were an example of successful cooperation. They also agreed to organize an effective exchange of the documents on standardization on confectionary products. It was also agreed to share experience on standards development by paperless method and it was also decided to develop cooperation in the framework of BRICS.
Russian and Chinese colleagues also highlighted the importance of further cooperation of STANDARTINFORM and Standardization Administration of China (SAC) on implementation of the Agreement for supplying national standards from June 14, 2014.
Parties also expressed their intention to continue strengthening of relations and information exchange on regulatory legal acts and standards on conformity assessment and carrying out control and supervision.
For the purposes of development of bilateral trade matter of cooperation in the field of accreditation, certification and conformity assessment was also discussed.
16th session of Permanent Russian-Chinese working group is planned for June 2018 in Ekaterinburg (Russian Federation).
