Meeting with AFNOR in the framework of the 40th ISO General Assembly

Director General of STANDARTINFORM Viacheslav Vitushkin held a meeting with Director of French Association for Standardization (AFNOR Publishing) Isabelle Sitbon in the framework of the 40th ISO General Assembly on September 20, 2017.

Following matters were discussed during the meeting:

  • Status of mutual distribution Agreement between STANDARTINFORM and AFNOR concluded in 2013
  • Opportunities of improved cooperation including increase in sales of standards, getting bibliographic data both for Russian and French standards in English language for the purpose of more effective informing of customers.

Parties also exchanged information concerning services provided by both parties paying special attention to existing ways of distribution of standards.

Isabelle Sitbon also shared its experience concerning transferring of standards into XML format.

Leading Specialist of STANDARTINFORM Christina Kosolapova  took part in this session on behalf of Russia. France was presented by Project Manager Fabrice Cesari.
