Delegation of STANDARTINFORM presented by the Director General Viacheslav Vitushkin and Advisor to the Director General Yury Butyrev took part in the 54th session of technical commission on standardization which was held jointly with the 37th session of working group on information technologies and the 1st session of working group on organization of work of interstate technical committees. These events were held on October 3-5, 2017 in Almaty.
This event took place at the Southern Branch of the Republican State Enterprise «Kazakh Institute of Standardization and Certification»(KazInSt) of the Committee of technical regulation and metrology of the Ministry for Investments and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Representatives of national bodies on standardization, metrology and certification of the Republic of Belarus, Republic of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Russian Federation, Republic of Uzbekistan, CIS Executive Committee, EASC Bureau for standards, interstate technical committees on standardization gathered together for the development of their positions on series of matters concerning cooperation in the field of the Interstate Council for Standardization, Metrology and Certification of the Commonwealth of Independence States.
Draft Agreements on distribution of the documents on interstate standardization and procedure of distribution of the documents on interstate standardization were among the examined matters. It also should be highlighted that this Procedure was developed by STANDARTINFORM in the framework of activities on improving the EASC works on interstate standardization and principles of its financing. Participants of the session also discussed status of harmonization of draft Agreement in states - CIS members and they stated mechanism of finalization of draft Procedure.
While examining the matter of forming of the list of translations of international and regional standards it was noted that Rosstandart provided all needed information concerning this matter on time. It also should be mentioned that STANDARTINFORM prepared this information for Rosstandat.
Draft Work plan of interstate technical committees for 2018-2019, ways of improving of cooperation between the EASC and ISO, implementation of the rule of consensus in adopting interstate standards have been discussed during this events.
Russian delegation was headed by the Deputy Head of GOST R Anton Shalaev and by the representatives of central office of GOST R, Interstandard and representatives of the All-Russian research institute for standardization and certification in mechanical engineering (VNIINMASH).
