Draft Agreement on distribution of the documents on interstate standardization was approved in the course of the session of the Committee on Economic Affairs of the CIS Economic Council on January 17, 2018 within the territory of Skolkovo Innovation Center. This Draft Agreement was prepared by STANDARTINFORM.
This Agreement is consolidating the sole right of relevant national bodies on standardization to distribute documents on interstate standardization and it also sets obligations to protect documents on standardization from unauthorized distribution.
Deputy Head of Rosstandart Anton Shalaev presented this Draft Agreement to the members of the Committee on Economic Affairs. This document was also examined at the 53d EASC session of technical commission on standardization last year in April 2017.
Draft Agreement was developed in the framework of implementation of works on improvement of the EASC activities on interstate standardization and principles of its financing. This document was approved at the 51th EASC session in May-June 2017 in Baku and it was also submitted for examination of the CIS Executive Committee. Director General of STANDARTINFORM Viacheslav Vitushkin presented this Draft Agreement at the 51st EASC session.
At the end of the meeting members of the Committee on Economic Affairs took a decision to submit this approved Agreement for further examination of the CIS Economic Council. Session of the CIS Economic Council will be held on March 2, 2018 in Moscow.
Adoption of this Agreement will contribute to creation of a legal base for provision of common principles of distribution of the documents on interstate standardization, reliability and relevance of applied documents and legality of their distribution.
