Representatives of STANDARTINFORM and French Association for Standardization (AFNOR) held a working meeting in Saint Petersburg on January 25, 2018.
French delegation was presented by the following persons: Fabrice Cesari, key account manager, Carine Le Masson, WebPort general manager, Alice Lecureux, employee of the International Cooperation Department
Director General of STANDARTINFORM Viacheslav Vitushkin, Deputy Director General Aleksandr Barkov, Head of the Department of Information Technologies Mikhail Shirokov, Head of the International Cooperation Department Julia Tufanova presented delegation of STANDARTINFORM.
Matters of bilateral cooperation particularly in the field of development of informational systems, status of an Agreement concluded between STANDARTINFORM and AFNOR dealing with distribution of Russian and French national standards in the territories of both counties were discussed in the framework of this meeting.
Parties recognized the need to amend an Agreement in connection with changes in the legislation of both countries which had occurred since the signing of an Agreement in 2013.
Participants of the meeting exchanged information on services provided paying special attention to existing opportunities of distribution of standards. Carine Le Masson performed an IT-platform «WebPort», dedicated to centralized provision of foreign standards. She also expressed interest in inclusion of national standards of the Russian Federation in WebPort.
Summing up the meeting, Parties affirmed their intention to develop cooperation between their organizations and they shared signs of affection. Representatives of AFNOR presented a copy of the first AFNOR standard of 1929 to STANDARTINFORM. In its turn, STANDARTINFORM presented to AFNOR a copy of AFNOR standard of 1941, which was kept in the Federal Information Collection of standards. Maintenance of the Federal Information Collection of standards is implemented by STANDARTINFORM.
