Draft Agreement on distribution of the documents on interstate standardization was approved on March 2, 2018 during the 77th session of the CIS Economic Council. This Agreement was prepared by STANDARTINFORM.
Advisor of Director General of STANDARTINFORM Yury Butyrev informed that this Agreement consolidated a sole right of national bodies on standardization to distribute documents on interstate standardization and set obligations to protect documents on standardization from their unauthorized distribution.
Draft Agreement was developed in the frameworks of implementation of works on improvement of the EASC activities on interstate standardization and principles of its financing.
Draft Agreement was approved at the 51th EASC session in May-June 2017 in Baku. It was presented by the Director General of STANDARTINFORM Viacheslav Vitushkin. Deputy Head of Rosstandart (GOST R) Anton Shalaev presented this Draft Agreement in January 2018 at the session of the Committee on Economic Affairs of the CIS Economic Council which was held in Moscow.
It was agreed to submit this approved Agreement for further examination of the CIS Council of Heads of Governments at the end of the session. Its session will be held in June 2018 in Dushanbe.
Adoption of this Agreement will contribute to creation of a legal base for provision of common principles of distribution of the documents on interstate standardization, reliability and relevance of applied documents and legality of their distribution.
