Final panel of Rosstandart took place on April 26, 2018 where results of the its activities in 2017 and plans for 2018 were covered.

Head of Rosstandart Alexey Abramov made a keynote report.
Speaking about the necessity of creation of a legal base for ensuring unity of principles of distribution of the documents on interstate standardization, credibility and relevance of applicable documents, legacy of their distribution Head of Rosstandart informed that Draft Agreement on distribution of the documents on interstate standardization was prepared within the framework of CIS. He also noted that its signing was planned for June 1, 2018.
Signing of this Agreement will create basic conditions for legal distribution of standards in the CIS countries. This Draft Agreement has been developed by STANDARTINFORM.
Another point of report of Alexey Abramov was devoted to creation of National Institute for Standardization. He highlighted that integration of 5 subordinate organizations of Rosstandart would take place in September 2018 and they would form a single structure. He also said that this action would enable to join scientific and technological base of subordinate organizations of Rosstandart.
