Director General of STANDARTINFORM Viacheslav Vitushkin performed in the thematic session «Regulatory control of application of digital technologies», which was held in the framework of the Forum «Information technologies at the service of defense industry», which was organized in Yalta with support of the Military-Industrial Commission of the Russian Federation on April 28, 2018.
Viacheslav Vitushkin focused on the implementation of works conducted by STANDARTINFORM concerning conversion of standards into XML format upon instructions of Rosstandart. Works in this area are being held by international organizations on standardization such as ISO and IEC and by national organizations on standardization (AFNOR, DIN) and others. These activities are aimed at creation of new formats of provision of documents on standardization (epub, iPad, mobipocket) and development of new online products which will enable to become familiar with contents of documents, their graphic symbols, terms and definitions. STANDARTINFORM is working closely with specialists of the above-mentioned organizations.
Head of Rosstandart Alexey Abramov mentioned plans on converting of documents on standardization into XML format during the Final Panel of Rosstandart that was held last week.
By 2020 number of documents on standardization in XML format should comprise 12 thousand documents.
Deputy Head of Rosstandart Anton Shalaev performed as moderator of the thematic session during the Forum. Director of the Standardization and Certification Institute «Lot» of the Krylov State Research Centre Pavel Filippov, First Deputy Chairman of the Committee for technical regulation, standardization and conformity assessment of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Andrey Lotsmanov and representatives of integrated structures and enterprises of defense complex also took part in this event.
