Official site of the Government of the Russian Federation placed an Order from May 23, 2018 «On signing of an Agreement on distribution of the documents on interstate standardization».
This Order recognizes usefulness of signing of an Agreement at the session of the Council of Heads of Governments of the Commonwealth of Independent States that will take place on June 1, 2018.
As stipulated in the first article of draft Agreement, forming of unique principles of distribution of the documents on interstate standardization which were adopted by the Interstate Council for Standardization, Metrology and Certification (EASC) was the main aim of this Agreement. It should be mentioned that this draft Agreement has been developed by STANDARTINFORM.
According to this Agreement distribution is reproduction, copying, translation of the documents on interstate standardization for their further sale or provision by other means in print or electronic formats.
Agreement confers a sole right for this activity to national bodies on standardization of the CIS States-members or to organizations authorized by these national bodies on standardization. National bodies inform each other and EASC Bureau for standards about these authorized organizations.
Advisor of Director General of STANDARTINFORM Yury Butyrev highlighted that CIS Economic Council approved unique procedure for distribution of the documents which would be able to cover partially the costs of states for development and updating of these documents according to this Agreement.
Order on signing of an Agreement on distribution of the documents on interstate standardization has been submitted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.
