STANDARTINFORM follows ISO Policy in the field of distribution of ISO Publications and copyright protection. STANDARTINFORM places special Copyright notices while publication of ISO documents.
According the main provisions of ISO Policy all ISO Publications, its National Adoptions, their Drafts and other works should contain special Copyright notice.
Relevant Copyright notice is placed obligatory while making publications of identical and modified national and international standards that were adopted as national ones and which are distributed in the Russian Federation.
As for previously issued documents, Director General of STANDARTINFORM Viacheslav Vitushkin explained that according to ISO Policy absolutely all national adoptions ( GOST R ISO, GOST ISO) were protected by copyright regardless of the fact whether a Copyright notice were placed on these documents or not.
ISO Copyright notice together with a notice of an organization that publishes the document is placed in the lower right corner of the turnover of a title page (according to GOST R 7.0.1-2003 point 10.1.
Example of this Copyright notice is the following:

© STANDARTINFORM, design [year of publication, year of republication].
Reference: STANDARTINFORM was established as a result of integration of two organizations. It is continuing to fulfill activities of these two organizations. STANDARTINFORM makes publication of the documents on standardization that began in Russia almost 95 years ago. It is also responsible for forming and maintaining of the Federal Information Collection of Standards.
Nowadays Federal Information Collection of Standards contains more than 6000 national adoptions.
