Thirty-two interstate and national standards came into effect in November 2018. There are GOSTs on glass packaging, series of GOST R on steel wire and wire products for fencing and netting and standards in the field of mining and series of preliminary standards of Russian system of quality among these thirty-two documents.
Four documents that came into effect since November 1, 2018 were interstate standards on lifts. These documents have been implemented for the first time.
GOST 33984.1-2016 sets general safety requirements for construction and installation of lifts for the transport of persons and persons and goods.
This document also highlights that cabin of the lift should be completely fenced by solid walls, floor and ceiling (roof).
Multiple glass must be used for doors and door ways made of glass or with glass panels.
GOST 33984.2-2016 establishes rules and methods of examinations (tests) and measurements of lifts which are necessary for assessment of conformity in the form of certification, as well as rules of sampling of lifts.
GOST 33984.3-2017 forms rules and methods of examinations (tests) and measurement during certification of security devices of lifts, as well as rules of sampling.
Main lift components calculations are reflected in GOST 33984.4-2017.
This document contains a list of significant hazards associated with area of application of this standard and relevant sections on eliminating or reduction of risks.
Hazards are divided into mechanical ones because of the following factors: elasticity of elements; high pressure; moving parts; rotating elements; stability; strengths and hazards associated with environmental conditions of the lift.
