Day of Science is annually celebrated on the 8th of February. STANDARTINFORM prepared an overview of national standard «Intellectual property. Distribution of the intellectual rights between the customer, the performer and the author on the protected results of intellectual activity created and/or used at performance of research, developmental work, technological and production works». It also should be mentioned that this standard came into effect less than a year ago.
This document is distributed on relations occurring while distribution of sole rights between the customer, performer and author on the protected results of intellectual activity.
Main objects of distribution of sole rights are rights on the objects of intellectual property and related rights (scientific works, databases), programs for electronic computing machines, topologies of integrated circuits, objects of patent rights
(inventions, useful models, industrial samples, selective breeding results), know-how, complicated objects (audiovisual works, multimedia products, integrated process).
Standard also provides more detailed information concerning kinds of customers, performers and authors.
This document enables to ensure effective distribution of sole rights between participants of legal relations and to reduce risks. This standard will become a basis for implementation of potential of intellectual property improving the competitiveness of innovative products using knowledge-intensive technologies.
