Working meeting of representatives of STANDARTINFORM and Norwegian company DNV GL was held on the 28th of February 2019.
DNV GL was organized in the result of merging of two companies one of which was DNV.
Exactly DNV published new rules for construction and technical management of pipelines on Norwegian continental shelf. These rules have become the ground for development of documents on standardization in this field.
Opportunity for registration of DNV GL standards and their translations in the Federal Information Collection of Standards of STANDARTINFORM for their further use by Russian manufacturing enterprises was key point of examination during this session.
STANDARTINFORM informed Norwegian colleagues on the main activities of the enterprise paying special attention to the maintenance of the Federal Information Collection of Standards.
It should be mentioned that exactly STANDARTINFORM was officially authorized for its maintenance.
Vice-president of DNV GL paid special attention to the matter of copyright of DNV GL standards and expressed his willingness to register DNV GL standards in the Federal Information Collection of Standards.
Parties examined perspectives of conclusion of Agreement on cooperation.
STANDARTINFORM was presented by the following representatives: Julia Tufanova, Head of the International Cooperation Department, Director of the Department of Development and Maintaining of Information Resources Evgeny Makoveev and Head of the Department of Distribution of Information Products Ekaterina Kuzina.
DNV GL was presented by Nils Andreas Masvie, DNV GL Vice President on Russia and Kazakhstan and Elena Demakova, Marketing manager of DNV GL.
Representatives of LLC «Gazprom 335» dealing with standardization issues also participated in this meeting.
