May 21, 2019 STANDARTINFORM held a meeting of the Working group to finalize the draft GOST R 1.2.
The meeting was attended by members of the Working group (WG): from STANDARTINFORM U. Budkin – Deputy General Director, the WG chair; A. Balvanovich – Deputy head of Department, Executive Secretary of the WG; P. Odintsov – Director of the Department, developer; from VNIIS – D. Mezinova, E. Sevko; from ASMS (Training) – A. Ekimov.
In his opening speech, U. Budkin noted the importance of the development of GOST R 1.2 as one of the most significant fundamental standards, which affects the activities of all technical committees on standardization. He stressed that within the framework of the WG functioning it is planned to consider and discuss the comments and suggestions received on the developing GOST R 1.2, which require direct dialogue between the developer and interested organizations.
A number of issues were considered, including: designation of the fundamental standard; list of documents submitted by the developer to the TC, early application of the standard; conditions for suspension of the standard; procedure for amendments, as well as a list of documents that should be in the history of standard development, including paragraph 4.4.1 and Annex B.
In the standard the necessity of taking into account the provisions of the Order of Rosstandart dated May 5, 2016 № 548 "On approval of the Rules of consensus in the development of national standards of the Russian Federation"; the expediency of deleting the section "Terms and definitions»
The need to take into account the functionality of Rosstandart FGIS in the development of standards and coordination of draft documents with related TC is recognized.
A. Balvanovich drew attention to the fact that in the draft GOST R 1.2 it is important to provide the possibility to change the name of the developing document on standardization.
At the end of the meeting the WG members made several decisions:
approve the activities of the developer to update GOST R 1.2;
to finalize GOST R 1.2 taking into account the results of the WG meeting;
within a separate meeting of the working group take into the account the functionality of Rosstandart FGIS in the provisions of the standard.
