22 May 2019 representatives of FGUP «STANDARTINFORM»: Director of distribution department E. Kuzina and Head of international department J. Tufanova took part in the annual NFST forum in St. Petersburg.
The organizer of the event – St. Petersburg chamber of Commerce and industry defined the target audience of the forum: people who determine the future of industrial digitalization in standardization, and the purpose of participation – to discuss how these processes affect manufacturers and buyers of industrial products.
E. Kuzina spoke to the audience with the report "Policy of distribution of documents of national standardization", in which she stressed that only documents from the Federal information Fund of standards have the status of official publications.
She said that STANDARTINFORM is authorized by the national standardization body in the Russian Federation – Rosstandart to distribute documents on standardization.
Answering the question about the acquisition for the use of legitimate international or national documents on standardization and their translations, J. Tufanova noted: "national adaptations are protected by copyright, and users of standards need to comply with it."
The forum was attended by a representative of the French organization for standardization AFNOR Fabrice Cesari, who told representatives of the domestic industry about the optimal solution for providing enterprises with foreign standards.
