June 13-15, 2019 representatives of FGUP "STANDARTINFORM": Deputy General Director Yu. V. Budkin and head of Department O. S. Yakimov took part in the international scientific and technical conference "Extreme robotics-2019" and the meeting of the technical Committee for standardization "Robotics" (TC 141) in St. Petersburg.
The conference brought together representatives of Russian and foreign research and production organizations in the field of robotics, consumers and customers of robotic systems.
The theme of the event covers a wide range of issues: from conceptual problems of creation to the practical application of existing robotic systems for work in extreme conditions and emergency situations, including the fight against terrorism, fire fighting, medicine, nuclear power and hazardous production, the solution of defense tasks, as well as the problems of space exploration and the depths of the World ocean.
On the meeting of TC 141 the interaction of the Secretariat of the Committee and the relevant departments of FGUP "STANDARTINFORM" in order to create a perspective program of standardization extreme robotics, including the examination of standard development projects were discussed.
The proposal to expand the subject of extreme robotics standards to "polar regions", to join efforts to develop national standards aimed at the use of digital technologies for robotics designs in the form of an electronic digital model was supported.
Reference. During the period 2016-2019, 15 national standards of the series "Robots and robotic devices" were developed, aimed at improving the interoperability of robots and their components, as well as reducing the cost of their development, production and maintenance through standardization and unification of processes, interfaces and parameters.
In 2019-2020, TC 141 plans to organize the development of 11 such projects in order to develop standards focused on the methods of testing robots and robotic devices.
