STANDARTINFORM took part in the working meeting of Deputy Head of Rosstandart B. Potemkin with Director General of "Uzstandart" D. Sattarov, which took place on 25th of October in Tashkent (Republic of Uzbekistan).
Rosstandard delegation consisted of Agency representatives and its subordinate organizations.
Deputy Director General Yu. Budkin and Adviser Director General D. Ahunov represented FGUP “STANDARTINFORM”.
Among the issues discussed at the meeting: the ongoing reform of the system of technical regulation in the Republic of Uzbekistan and the interaction of Rosstandart and Uzstandart in the field of standardization, Metrology and educational activities.
On cooperation in the field of standardization, the parties agreed to establish technical committees for standardization of both countries in the field of electrical engineering, agricultural machinery and construction materials in order to establish an in-depth exchange of experience.
It was decided to provide a comparative analysis of national standards of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Uzbekistan through the formation and exchange of lists of standards, the application of which on a voluntary basis ensures compliance with the requirements of technical regulations.
The Uzbek side showed interest in a detailed acquaintance with the functionality of the FGIS "Beresta" to study the development of a similar information system.
