On November 13, 2019, STANDARTINFORM as part of the Rosstandart delegation took part in the 56th meeting of the Euro-Asian Council for standardization, Metrology and certification (EASC) of the CIS member States, which was held in Shymkent (Republic of Kazakhstan) on the basis Of the Committee of technical regulation and Metrology of the Ministry of trade and integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The meeting brought together the heads and representatives of national bodies for standardization, metrology, certification and accreditation of the Republic of Armenia, Republic of Belarus, Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan, Republic of Uzbekistan and Ukraine; representatives of the CIS Executive Committee and the EASC Bureau of standards of the Euro-Asian economic Commission (as observers).
The delegation of Rosstandart was headed by the head of the Agency A. Abramov, FGUP "STANDARTINFORM" was represented by: Director General A. Mikheev and Deputy Director General Yu. Budkin.
More than 30 issues were discussed at the meeting and the agreed decisions were made.
Among them - the decision to establish four new ITC: "Amelioration", " Metrological support of production and accounting of energy resources (liquids and gases)", "Construction" and "Research in the polar regions"; the decision to establish a working group under the leadership of A. Mikheev consisting of representatives from national institutes of standardization to finalize the Interstate standardization recommendations "Keeping record of documents distribution on interstate standardization" with the subsequent direction of the document for consideration at the 59th meeting of the Scientific and Technical Commission for Standardization.
Accepted:
- changes to the work program on interstate standardization for 2019-2021;
- GOST 1.6 "Interstate standardization system. The program of intergovernmental standardization. Rules of formation, adoption, modification and monitoring of implementation" (developer-FGUP "STANDARTINFORM", voted by 9 ICS members);
- 339 documents on interstate standardization;
- Interstate standardization rules "Procedure for recognition of test results and confirmation of measuring instruments type for primal approval, verification, metrological certification" and 5 tables of standard reference data (CIS Standard Reference Data).
The next 57th meeting of the EASC is planned for May-June 2020 in the Kyrgyz Republic.
