In early June, 250 national and interstate standards came into force. We mentioned three of them in the previous article (Standards that entered into force in June 2020. Part 1).
Today we present an overview of a number of "June" standards in the development of which "STANDARTINFOM" took part.
GOST 5578-2019, Crushed stone and sand from ferrous and non-ferrous slags for concrete. Technical Requirements. TC 144, Construction materials and products, was introduced to replace the same name GOST 5578-94. The new document applies to dense and porous crushed stone and sand obtained from slags of metallurgical production of ferrous and nonferrous metallurgy of various types and kinds, which are used as a coarse and fine aggregate of dense and porous structure for heavy, fine-grained and light concretes, including concretes for pavement and base of roads and airfields. According to the standard, granulated slag is a fine-fraction, multi-component bulk material obtained by rapid water-cooling of liquid hot slag. Metallurgical slag is a product of high-temperature interaction of ore, waste rock of ore materials, metallurgical fluxes and fuel ash in the process of metal melting from ores. Granular slag sand is a technogenic granular bulk material with grain size up to 5 millimeters, obtained by crushing granular slag from non-ferrous metallurgy using special crushing and screening equipment. The Secretariat of TC 144, Construction materials and products, is lead by "STANDARTINFOM".
GOST 5541-2019, Cortical corking means. General technical specifications. Introduced for approval TC 415, Corking means, whose secretariat is managed by our organization. The updated document, which replaced the same name GOST 5541-2002, applies to capping corks intended for glass, ceramic and metal packaging, and establishes their classification, parameters, technical requirements, acceptance rules, control methods, as well as requirements for their packaging, marking, transportation and storage. The standard, in particular, specifies that the manufacturer and the customer for each batch must agree and approve samples of cortical capping agents. Plugs with adhesive residue from processing are not allowed to use. Agglomerated and micro-agglomerated cork stoppers shall consist of adjoining granules of cork crust. The allowable amount of residual oxidizer in cork plugs treated with oxidizing agents (for clarification of cork plugs) shall not exceed 0.2 milligrams per cork. The allowable amount of cork dust remaining on cylindrical cortical plugs (straight cortical plugs) shall not exceed 0.002 grams per cork - for natural, colored natural, agglomerated and prefabricated plugs; not more than 0.001 grams per cork - for micro agglomerated plugs.
GOST R 58420-2019, Services to the population. Zoo services. Keeping of predatory animals. General requirements. Developed for the first time with the participation of "STANDARTINFOM". The document applies to relevant services in zoos of all forms of ownership and all types of specialization, except for safari parks and contact zoos. According to this national standard, the well-being and safety of predatory animals in zoos must be ensured. This can be achieved with a modern integrated welfare assessment approach; a friendly relationship between animals and keepers (zookeepers) including training elements; as well as continuous monitoring of the animal's condition and behavior.
