Here is a brief overview of new national standards for land reclamation systems and facilities.
GOST R 58801-2020, Reclamation systems and structures. Drainage canals. Cross sections, first came into force on July 1, 2020. The standard specifies requirements to the cross-section forms and its parameters in the design of new and reconstruction of existing drainage canals of reclamation systems. According to the document, the canals of drainage systems should have a stable channel, which ensure the flow of water. By its purpose, drainage canals are divided into canals of conductive, regulatory and fencing network.
GOST R 58331.3-2019, Reclamation systems and structures. Water requirement for irrigation of crops. General requirements, was introduced for the first time and has been operating for almost a year. The document specifies water requirements for crop irrigation in the Central, North-Western, Volga, Ural, Siberian, Far Eastern, Southern and North Caucasus Federal Districts. Calculation of water demand rates is based on water consumption deficit, adjusted in each case for irrigation water loss. The weighted average water consumption rate is calculated for a structural irrigation hectare. It means a fictitious single area of irrigation on which all crops typical for a given rayon are grown in correlation with the adopted crop rotations and field structure. Extended indicators are developed by regions based on irrigation norms. The average weighted norm of water consumption per structural hectare for Voronezh region is 3030 m3/ha, for Moscow region - 830 m3/ha, for Altai region - 1800 m3/ha, for Republic of Tatarstan - 2260 m3/ha.
GOST R 58331.2-2019, Reclamation systems and structures. Self-propelled sprinkling machines. General requirement, introduced for the first time on July 1, 2019. The standard applies to sprinklers with collapsible piping, sprinklers with multiple supports, sprinklers with long-spray (overhead), sprinklers for fixed installations, sprinklers for irrigation, cantilever sprinklers, as well as combined machines with collapsible piping. The document specifies the indicators of compliance with the requirements of reliability, safety, human health and environmental protection. This standard should be applied for designing, manufacturing and operation of newly created or upgraded machines of Russian and foreign production.
