The 59th meeting of the Scientific and Technical Commission on Standardization (STCS) of the Euro-Asian council for standardization, metrology and certification (EASC) of the CIS member states was held on June 18, 2020.
The online meeting was attended by the members of the STCS, authorized representatives of the national standardization bodies of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Moldova, the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as the CIS Executive Committee and the EASC Bureau for Standards.
Anton Shalaev, Deputy Head of Rosstandart, headed the Russian delegation at the meeting.
"STANDARTINFORM" was represented by: Alexander Barkov, First Deputy General Director, and Yuri Budkin, Deputy General Director.
The project of guidelines on the procedure of accounting for interstate standardization documents during their distribution developed by "STANDARTINFORM" was approved (Head of the working group - Alexander Mikheev , acting General Director of "STANDARTINFORM").
Alexander Barkov's initiative to involve the interstate technical committees on standardization (ITC) in the work on updating the fund of interstate standards was endorsed.
