Cooperation with international, regional and national organizations on standardization

      Federal State Budgetary Institution “Russian Standardization Institute” (FSBI “RSI”) carries out the following functions in the framework of cooperation with international, regional and national bodies on standardization:

  • is undertaking works on conclusion of bilateral Agreements on distribution of normative documents with international organizations and national bodies on standardization;

  • is coordinating the management of existing License Agreements and Bilateral Agreements on mutual information exchange and distribution of standards;

  • is providing replies to the WTO (TBT / SPS) enquiries.

   FSBI “RSI” has License Agreements on distribution of normative documents of the Russian Federation and Agreements on distribution of National Standards of the Russian Federation abroad with the below-mentioned organizations:

      FSBI “RSI” holds the secretariats of the following international organizations on standardization:

    - IEC TC 1 “Terminology”
    - ISO/TC 254 “Safety of amusement rides and amusement devices”
    - ISO/TC 96/SC 4 “Test methods” (Technical Committee “Cranes”)

      A trilateral Agreement on “Joint activities in the field of information security in the area of technical regulation of the Customs Union and the United Economic Area” has been signed between the Federal State Budgetary Institution “Russian Standardization Institute” (FSBI “RSI”) (former FGUP “STANDARTINFORM”), Research and Production Republican Unitary Enterprise “Belarusian State Institute for Standardization and Certification” (BelGISS) and the Republican State Enterprise “Kazakhstan Institute of Standardization and Metrology” (KAZSTANDART). Current Agreement is intended to ensure functioning of the united system of complex informational support in the field of technical regulation of the United Economic Area of the Russian Federation, Republic of Belarus and Republic of Kazakhstan.

      Current Agreement provides access to technical regulations of the Customs Union, interstate standards, national standards of the Russian Federation, Republic of Belarus and Republic of Kazakhstan and other documents used for the purposes of conformity assessment with the requirements of technical regulations of the Customs Union.
